Cooking Tip
Roasting Vegetables

Roasting vegetables is a wonderful way to bring out flavor. Not all vegetables are suitable for roasting. Vegetables are drizzled with oil, placed on a rimmed baking sheet, and placed in a hot oven (usually exceeding 400 F.). The vegetables are cooked for a long time, driving out the moisture, causing them to brown or blacken and caramelize.
