Casserole Making Tips -
Croutons

Small pieces of unsweetened bread are coated in oil or butter and sautéed or baked giving them a crispy texture. Croutons can be purchased at most supermarkets or made at home prettily easily using dry or leftover bread. Croutons can be plain or seasoned with herbs and spices.

Casserole Making Tips -
Bacon

Side bacon or streaky bacon is the type we think of when we refer to bacon. This bacon comes in a number of varieties including thick cut, and flavored cuts like brown sugar and maple. The long strips of bacon can be fried, baked, boiled or grilled.
