Corn Casserole

Butter, all-purpose flour and milk whisk together and combined with eggs, cooked corn, chopped green bell pepper, and marjoram. Mixture is transferred to prepared baking dish and baked in preheated oven until set and top is golden brown. Individual servings garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

Ingredients -

1 tablespoon Butter
1 tablespoon Flour
1/2 cup Milk
2 Eggs, slightly beaten
2-1/2 cups Cooked Corn
3 tablespoons Chopped Onion
3 tablespoons Chopped Green Pepper
1 teaspoon Marjoram
Chopped Fresh Parsley

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 350 degrees and preheat.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the butter, flour and milk.

3. Add the eggs, corn, onion, green pepper and marjoram.

4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

5. Spray a casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

6. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish.

7. Bake for 45 minutes.
