Chili Casserole

 

Ingredients -

1-1/2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
1/2 cup Chopped White Onion
3 Stalks Celery, chopped
1 (15 ounces) can Chili
1 (14.5 ounces) can Peeled and Diced Tomatoes with Juice
1/4 cup Taco Sauce
1 (15 ounces) can Corn
1 (8 ounces) package Egg Noodles
1/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 350 degrees and preheat.

2. Sauté the ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink.

3. Drain the excess fat.

4. Add the next 4 ingredients and heat thoroughly, simmering over reduce heat.

5. Cook the noodles to al dente in a pot of slightly salted water.

6. Drain the noodles and transfer to a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.

7. Pour the meat mixture over the noodles, stirring well.

8. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese.

9. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the middle is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
