1. Turn the oven to 425 degrees and preheat.
2. Add the ground beef to a large skillet and brown through, separating into crumbles.
3. Drain and discard the excess fat.
4. Add the peppers and onions and sauté until tender.
5. In a bowl, combine the milk, eggs, half the corn and the cornbread mix and blend well.
6. Grease a 9 inch square pan with butter.
7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish.
8. Pour the beef mixture on top, followed by the cheese slices and remaining corn.
9. Pour the remaining batter on top of the corn.
10. Bake for 30 minutes or until the corn bread is cooked.
11. Serve and enjoy.
