Baked Spaghetti

 

Ingredients -

1 cup Chopped Onion
1 cup Chopped Green Pepper
1 tablespoon Butter
1 (28 ounces) can Tomatoes
1 (4 ounces) can Mushroom Stems and Pieces
1 can Sliced Olives, drained
2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
1 pound Lean Ground Beef, browned and drained
12 ounces Spaghetti, cooked
2 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/4 cup Water
1/4 cup Grated Fresh Parmesan Cheese

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 350 degrees and preheat.

2. Sauté the green pepper and onion in a large skillet with butter until tender.

3. Add the next 5 ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered.

4. Spray a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

5. Add half of the spaghetti to the dish.

6. Layer half of the vegetable mixture on top of the noodles.

7. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheddar cheese on top and repeat the layers.

8. Whisk together the water and soup until smooth.

9. Pour the soup over the top and finish with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

10. Bake for 35 minutes, uncovered, or until heated through.
