Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

 

Ingredients -

1-1/2 pounds Yukon Gold Potatoes, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Butter, divided
1 pint Heavy Cream
2 Garlic Cloves, thinly sliced
Coarse Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste
2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
4 Provolone Cheese Slices
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan or Romano Cheese

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 325 degrees and preheat.

2. Spray a 2 quart casserole baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

3. Arrange half of the potato slices in the bottom of the prepared dish.

4. Dot with half of the butter and arrange half of the garlic slices on top of the butter.

5. Pour half of the heavy cream over the top and sprinkle with 1 up of cheese on top.

6. Season with salt and pepper.

7. Repeat the layers and end with slices of provolone cheese.

8. Sprinkle with pepper.

9. Bake for 30 minutes then sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.

10. Bake for another 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
