Sweet Potato with Maple and Apple Casserole

 

Ingredients -

1 (32 ounces) can Sweet Potatoes, sliced lengthwise
2 cups Apple Slices, peeled and cut 1/4-inch thick
3/4 cup Maple Syrup
1/4 cup Butter, melted
1 teaspoon Sea Salt

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 350 degrees and preheat.

2. Spray a 13 x 9 casserole baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

3. Arrange the slices of potato into the bottom of the prepared dish.

4. Layer the slices of apple on top of the potato.

5. In a bowl, mix together the butter, syrup and salt.

6. Pour the mixture over the top.

7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.

8. Remove the foil and continue baking until the apples are tender.
